My beloved and favorite CEFG
I will tell you about my favorite subject in University.
I love my textile workshop with all my heart, but there's one thing i can't ignore and that's my love for my roots. It is my first time taking a CEFG (General Education Courses and something else haha) and is wonderfull.
I stayed in Idioma y Cultura Mapuche, when i took it, i thought we would have face-to-face classes, but the pandemic struck and it has been all very different from what i thought it would be. Even though i had already taken Mapudungun courses outside the University, i could never learn in an optimal way, due to lack of constancy or problems of distance, so this was a great opportunity and has been a nice experience.
My teacher's name is Jose Ñancucheo and despite his great age, he has tried to teach us this beautiful language with all his heart. Obviously like any new language, it is quite difficult (much more than English) and brings a huge cultural burden. I only hope that i can learn and continue to take advantage of this cefg so that later on i might have the possibility of teaching the basics to others and not continue to lose the customs of my Huichacura family as happened to my grandfather :(
Pewkayal!
